Lay Leader
I have been a formal member of Union Memorial UMC since 1982. I made the choice to join Union because my daughter was attending with her babysitter prior to that and I was involved in all the church activities that involved her. I felt that the unity and connection to the same church would be good for both of us.
I have previously served as Chair of the Church Council. I currently serve as Lay Leader of the church, member of Finance Committee, member of SPRC, member of Usher Board, and officer with United Methodist Women.
My faith makes me feel anchored to God who I feel has always looked out for me and saved me from many adversities, usually when I didn't expect it. I am passionate about helping others by doing what I can to the best of my abilities, for whomever I can, as long as I have the strength.
