Stewardship means that you, as a Christian, realize that God is the source of all good. You acknowledge that He has been generous to you and, in return, you strive to be generous with your gifts.
The gift of time is most precious. How are you using the time God has given to you? He allows you 24 hours each day and in one year you receive 8,760 hours. The Biblical principle of tithing calls for the receiver to give back one-tenth of your gift – 876 hours. This time should be used in service to the Lord.
The greatest thing a Christian can do is to bring others to Christ. You need to do so through your collective service in church ministries and missions and personal evangelism. There is no greater service to the King.
